Ms. Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah

    Managing Director

    Ms. Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah is a lawyer and a member of the Ghana Bar Association. She has extensive knowledge in the banking and finance sector.

    She graduated with a QLC from the Ghana School of Law. She holds an MA in Human Resources from the University of Cape Coast. She holds an LL.B from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Bachelor in Education Degree in English Language from the University of Education, Winneba. She also graduated as a Teacher from St. Louis Training College, Ghana

    Ms. Dwumah started her career as a Teacher with OLA Girls Senior High School where she taught English and English Literature. She has worked with Dery & Co. a legal firm in Accra. Prior to joining Dery & Co. she was with Golden Pride Savings and Loans Limited as Solicitor and Company Secretary. She previously worked as a Trainer of Trainees with the GNAT/Canadian Teachers Federation and also worked with Plan Ghana to train teachers.

    Prior to her appointment she worked with Bank of Africa as a Legal Counsel. She can be described as a professional with a strong appetite for success, a problem solver, and also possesses strong organizational and leadership skills.  She has extensive training in leadership and corporate governance.

        Ahmed Mahamoud OSMAN

        COO

        Ahmed is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) with membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and the International Academy of Business and Financial Management respectively. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana (CITG). Ahmed also holds Commonwealth Executive Masters from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Cape Coast.

        He has over fifteen (15) years experience in the financial services industry having worked with Capital Bank, uniBank, GTBank, Mobil Oil (now Total Petroleum) and Community Action for Development (CAD).

        Prior to joining SIC Life Savings and Loans Ltd, he was the Head of Credit Risk at Capital Bank responsible for credit appraisal, credit administration and portfolio management. He is credited with setting up the Credit Risk Management of that Bank. Ahmed also played a couple of roles at uniBank including Client Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking) and Credit Risk Analyst.  He was among the pioneer staff of GTBank Ghana as Accounts Officer in the Institutional and Corporate Banking Group as well as Commercial Banking Group.

        Prior to joining GTBank, he was Accountant at Mobil Oil Ghana (now Total Petroleum) and a Credit Manager at Community Action for Development (CAD), a financial NGO in Tamale.  He is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA).

            Martin ATEBI

            Head, Treasury

            Martin Atebi is an Investment Banker with fifteen (15) years experience in treasury sales, liquidity management, Investment mobilization and Fund management as well as managing relationships between the company and its financial stakeholders. Prior to joining SIC Life Savings & Loans.

            In May, 2011, he was with International Commercial Bank Ltd. (ICB). He holds an International Executive MBA (Banking & Finance) from the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM) and a first degree in Marketing from the University of Professional Studies, Ghana. He is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana.

                Azekyum ABISA

                Head, Credit

                Azekyum Abisa joined SIC Life Savings & Loans Co. Ltd in February 2013 from Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited where she was in charge of Microfinance Credit administration. She was instrumental in streamlining credit processes and maintaining a healthy portfolio. She has over Ten (10) years banking credit experience in Business Banking, SME, Personal banking & Credit risk Management.

                She holds a first degree in Economics and Administration from the Catholic University of Ghana, and a Masters in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of  Bankers, Ghana.

                    Noah Ekow Danquah ABEKAH

                    Head, I.T.

                    Noah Ekow Danquah Abekah is an I.T. Professional with more than twelve (12) years experience in Information Technology Managements, software development, Project Management and System Administration.

                    He has worked in diverse organizations like Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited, UniBank Ghana Limited, School of Public Health (University of Ghana) and Scancom Ghana (now MTN Ghana).

                        David Kofi OSEI

                        Internal Auditor & Assurance

                        David Kofi Osei joined SIC Life TFL from Barclays Bank (GH) Ltd in May, 2013, with over fourteen (14) years working experience in the field of Retail Banking, Accounting Finance, and Procurement. He had seven (7) years working experience in the field of Retail Banking with Barclays Bank (Gh) Ltd. and served in various capacities including; Account Executive (premier banking), Sales Manager and later Branch Manager (Ag) (2006-2013).

                        Prior to that, he worked in the finance department of Koforidua Polytechnic for over seven (7) years, in the field of Accounting & Finance and Procurement. Whiles there he also served as a board member of the Polytechnic’s Governing Council from 1999-2006. He is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountant, Ghana) and holds an MBA in Accounting, Bsc Admin (Accounting Option).

                            Ernest DARKO

                            Human Resource Manager

                            As an HR practitioner, Ernest has over nine (9) years of practical experience in different capacities in the area of administration, customer service, business development and people management.

                            Prior to joining SIC Life, Ernest was the HR Business Partner for the Fixed Income Loans Division of Dalex Finance, a role he has played since March 2015.

                            Ernest served in different capacities whiles working in the Microfinance Sector with Christian Community Microfinance Limited (CCML). He held different portfolios as Branch Administrator, Branch Manager, Zonal Coordinator, Head of Micro Banking and finally Recruitment and Training Manager, all of these between November 2008 to February 2015.

                            He holds MBA from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from University of Ghana. He is also a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (IHRMP).
