Mr. Charles W. N. Dugbartey-Nanor
Mr. Charles Dugbartey-Narnor is an innovative entrepreneur and an astute Business Consultant who has been involved in the setting up of several businesses and on a few occasions, with his rich experience in business and background in the education profession, has been formally called to lecture and mentor students of the University of Ghana Business and the China English International Business Schools.
Charles holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon. He first graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Geography as well as a Diploma in Education. He holds an AIGCSE Teacher’s Certificate from the Robinson College in Cambridge University, UK and an International Baccalaureate Teacher’s Certificate from IB Teachers Training Program Gdansk, Poland.
With his natural ability for business and marketing, he transitioned seamlessly from the education profession into business to establish several thriving businesses including Shelter Afrique Roof Systems & Roof Zones Ventures, Tsarley Korpey Beach Resort and K.C. Developers & Real Estates. He also set up Royal Jade Chinese Restaurant chain, ExEI Events and Entertainment and under development are Tsarley Korpey Golf Estates and Volta Basin Industrial Complex.
Mr. Dugbartey-Narnor is currently a Governing Member of the St. Karol School of Nursing (KNUST) and also sits on the Board of Investcorp Ghana Limited Property Fund.
Ms. Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah
Ms. Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah is a lawyer and a member of the Ghana Bar Association. She has extensive knowledge in the banking and finance sector.
She graduated with a QLC from the Ghana School of Law. She holds an MA in Human Resources from the University of Cape Coast. She holds an LL.B from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Bachelor in Education Degree in English Language from the University of Education, Winneba. She also graduated as a Teacher from St. Louis Training College, Ghana
Ms. Dwumah started her career as a Teacher with OLA Girls Senior High School where she taught English and English Literature. She has worked with Dery & Co. a legal firm in Accra. Prior to joining Dery & Co. she was with Golden Pride Savings and Loans Limited as Solicitor and Company Secretary. She previously worked as a Trainer of Trainees with the GNAT/Canadian Teachers Federation and also worked with Plan Ghana to train teachers.
Prior to her appointment she worked with Bank of Africa as a Legal Counsel. She can be described as a professional with a strong appetite for success, a problem solver, and also possesses strong organizational and leadership skills. She has extensive training in leadership and corporate governance.
Ms. Lawrencia Adams-Simpson
Ms. Lawrencia Adams-Simpson is an independent consultant and currently the Coordinator of the Learning Network for Capacity Development (LENCD), an informal network aimed at supporting the emerging global community of practice around capacity development. It promotes exchange of knowledge, experience and approaches among practitioners. Members include: UNDP, OECD, ACBF, NEPAD and WBI. She recently was the Programme Manager for ‘Strengthening Transparency, Accountability and Responsiveness in Ghana’ (STAR-Ghana), a civil society and governance programme.
Prior to this she was the Team Leader of the Ghana Research and Advocacy Programme (G-rap). She has been the Coordinator/Executive Director of the Pan African Organization for Sustainable Development (POSDEV), a consortium of African development NGOs and civil society organizations (CSOs).
She has worked with national and international organizations for more than twenty (20) years. She is a senior management and consulting professional in the social development field. Her technical expertise embraces social accountability programme management, policy analysis and international policy advocacy.
She holds an Executive Master of Administration degree in Entrepreneurial Management, as well as Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours).
She currently is a consultant with the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) based in Accra and also serves on the Governing Boards of Access Agriculture, Kenya, The West Africa Rural Foundation, Senegal and is a Trustee of the Ghanaman CRG Trust Fund, Ghana.
Mrs. Ernestina Afrani
Mrs. Ernestina Afrani is a retired Human Resource Management practitioner. She has over 25 years experience in Human Resource Management and Administration. Prior to her retirement she was seconded from SIC Insurance Company of Ghana limited to the National Insurance Commission (NIC) as Head of HR. and Administration. She was responsible for the HR functions of the organization.
Prior to taking this appointment, she occupied the positions of Head of Training and Development, Head of Administration and Senior HR. Manager over a duration at SIC Insurance Company Limited and she also served on the Claims Settlement Committee from 2008 to 2012.
Mrs. Afrani is an enthusiastic and energetic professional with strong negotiating and interpersonal skills.
She graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in French & Spanish and has a Diploma in French teaching from the University of Bordeaux. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana. She is a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP).
She currently works as a Business Consultant and manages her own business while assisting others who want to venture into the sphere of entrepreneurship.
Madam Elizabeth Wyns-Dogbe
Mrs. Elizabeth Wyns-Dogbe is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) UK. She has fifteen years (15) experience in insurance and risk management. She started her insurance career with KEK Insurance Brokers’ Ltd, a leading insurance brokerage and consultancy firm in Ghana and the local representatives of Aon Plc. For several years, she worked with a team of both local and international Engineers and Insurers who restructured and managed the risk management and insurance programs of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).
She currently is the Managing Director of SIC Life Company Limited. Before her appointment, she was the General Manager, Operations at UT Life Insurance Company Limited.
Mrs. Wyns-Dogbe holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance option) from the Central University College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science and Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. She is also a fellow of the Boardroom Institute and a Senior Fellow of the African Good Governance Initiative. She is also the Publicity Director of the Chartered Insurance Ladies Association of Ghana (CILAG). She has extensive training in leadership and corporate governance.
Mrs. Elizabeth Wyns-Dogbe is also a Reverend Minister with Jesus Generation Ministries. She has been in active Christian ministry since 2004 and has a PHD in Theology from Immanuel Bible Institute and Seminary, Brooklyn, USA.
